Raiders WR depth chart: How Jakobi Meyers trade impacts Geno Smith's weapons image

The 2025 NFL trade deadline was one of the busiest in history. There were eight deadline day trades, the second-most ever. One of the deals saw the Las Vegas Raiders trading away Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars for fourth and sixth round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Meyers came into the 2025 season disgruntled with Las Vegas. He requested a preseason trade, but it wasn't granted. Meyers made the best of it, playing in seven games and coming down with 33 of his 49 targets for 352 yards. He was a common name brought up in trade discussions because the Raiders began the season with a 2-6 record. Las Vegas decided to move Meyers in the final year of his contract and get the draft capital it could.

Here's more on what's left of the Raiders' wide receiver room after trading away Meyers.

Raiders WR depth chart

RankPlayer Name
1Tre Tucker
2Tyler Lockett
3Jack Bech
4Dont'e Thornton Jr.
5Alex Bachman

Tre Tucker

Tucker will become the new No. 1 wide receiver in the Las Vegas offense. He was a third round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and is on track to have the best season of his career. Through eight games he has 427 yards and four touchdowns on 32 receptions. He should see an increased target share after Meyers' departure.

Tyler Lockett

Lockett began the season with the Tennessee Titans. The 33-year-old requested his release from the struggling Titans and chose to reunite with head coach Pete Carroll in Las Vegas. Lockett spent 10 years with the Seattle Seahawks, and nine were under Carroll as the head coach.

He has only played one game so far with Las Vegas and didn't bring in the lone target that came his way.

Jack Bech

Bech was a second round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of TCU. He figures to be the biggest beneficiary of Meyers' departure. Bech has suited up for eight games, but currently has only seven receptions for 73 yards and is still searching for his first career touchdown.

Dont'e Thornton Jr.

Thornton is also a rookie, but was selected in the fourth round out of Tennessee. He impressed in the preseason with his speed, but it hasn't translated to success on the field yet. Thornton has played in seven games and he has 94 yards on five receptions.

Alex Bachman

Bachman was an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest in 2019. He played in only six games in his first season with the Raiders in 2024, but he caught all three of his passes for 31 total yards. So far in 2025, Bachman has suited up for seven games, but has only one reception on two targets for nine yards.

It is worth noting that Brock Bowers is technically a tight end, so not listed here. Bowers was already getting a high target share when healthy, and that is likely only going to increase with the Meyers trade.
