The Kansas City Chiefs are shifting into offseason mode, with attention focused on retaining players and seeing who will be moved on in 2026.
One name fans want to know about is tight end Travis Kelce.
The future Hall of Famer is weighing up his future after 13 glorious years in the NFL, and with his impending wedding to Taylor Swift in the offseason, football isn't exactly at the front of his mind right now.
But for Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, who was a guest on Good Morning Football, there is hope that No. 87 will return for a 14th season.
"As an organization, we certainly hope that he will come back," Hunt said. "There's no doubt in my mind that he can still play, we're trying to be respectful & let him have the time that he needs to make a decision. But we certainly hope that he'll be back."

Should Kelce come back?
I'm all for the greats of the game to keep playing as long as they can.
But also, we want them to go out while they still have juice in the tank. Kelce posted 851 yards and 5 TDs this season, so he was still productive.
The last thing he or Chiefs Kingdom wants is for Kelce to return, and look like a shadow of himself, and post 200 yards and no touchdowns.
So that is something Kelce has to weigh up, but no one would begrudge him for walking away to begin his life with Taylor.
The next few months will tell us a lot about Travis' interest in playing football in 2026.
