The Kansas City Chiefs knew that they had to try their best to keep their head above water with the slate of offensive players missing in the opening three weeks, and against the Baltimore Ravens, Xavier Worthy made his return.
And to say the difference he made was noticeable is an understatement.
Suddenly, the Chiefs looked explosive, were cohesive, and moved the ball down the field at will on a Baltimore defense that, yes, was injury-riddled. Still, a lot of Chiefs receivers got their fill.
One was Marquise Brown (38 yards, one touchdown), and "Hollywood" knows how crucial it is to get players back on the field.
"It felt like what we know we're capable of [as an offense]," Brown said via ESPN. "We've had some hiccups, this guy off the field or this guy off the field. Just getting everybody together was big for us."

Chiefs back in AFC West picture
After two weeks, you could find a host of people thinking the Los Angeles Chargers were going to run away with the AFC West, and now we fast-forward two weeks, and Kansas City is one game out of first place, although L.A. has the tie-breaker right now.
With the Chiefs seemingly back after the Ravens win, more help is on the way with Rashee Rice set to return in the next few weeks against the Las Vegas Raiders. So, Kansas City has found its mojo and is getting its No. 1 weapon back at a time when many were just about ready to write them off.
But week by week, Mahomes, like Thanos, is collecting his infinity stones, and when that gauntlet is full in Week 7, goodness me, the thought that the Chiefs could again be an offensive juggernaut will scare the daylights out of NFL teams.
The AFC kings aren't dead yet.
