The Kansas City Chiefs are on the hunt for a new offensive coordinator with Matt Nagy seeking a head coaching role.
The Chiefs, so far, haven't cast their interview request net that wide, but they have put their feelers out.
And one name that has popped up today is Chicago Bears running backs coach and former Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
Having been Chiefs OC for six years, it was during Bieniemy's time in Kansas City that Patrick Mahomes won two MVPs, and the franchise won its three Super Bowls.
Going back to that well feels like a good move.

Is Bieniemy the right move?
The Chiefs clearly want to pick Eric's brain, plus, having the offensive coordinator who was part responsible for the best football of Mahomes' career in the building isn't a bad idea.
The other side of it is, do the Chiefs want to go down a path they've already been down before?
Is it worth going after a new coach with a fresh approach to the team?
There are pros and cons on both sides, and yes, it is only an interview, so Eric isn't a guarantee to get the job, but it does feel like Kansas City wants to get the most out of Mahomes.
And Bieniemy was the one who did during his time with the Chiefs.
