The Kansas City Chiefs will tackle the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day in what will be the final home game of the regular season.

But one question remained unanswered.

Who will be the starting quarterback?

Chris Oladokun came in for Gardner Minshew in the 26-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans, and Shane Buechele was signed to the active roster this week as cover.

And speaking to the media on Tuesday, Oladokun virtually answered the starting QB question.

“It's definitely been crazy,” Oladokun said of this week. “Stuff happens fast in the league, people always say that. Definitely just been a lot of preparation, getting ready for this game, and I'm super excited to go out there and show the world what I got.”

Chiefs looking for positive end to home season

Given how the season has transpired, Andy Reid and his team would love nothing more than to play the role of spoiler to the Broncos' playoff seeding hopes and win their final home game of the season.

Granted, Denver is clearly the better team, and the thought of that defense going against Oladokun is enough to give Chiefs fans nightmares.

But the NFL is full of surprises, and you never know what is going to happen.

Oladokun is ready to roll in what will be his first NFL start, and who knows, he might have enough juice to take down the Broncos on Christmas Day.
