The Kansas City Chiefs have steadied the ship after a tough opening fortnight, but have bounced back with two wins over the New York Giants and the Baltimore Ravens.
Now sitting at 2-2, Kansas City feels like its season is back on track, but that doesn't mean all is well within the franchise regarding its ability to improve. We are still a little way away from the trade deadline, but the Chiefs could be interested in making some moves.
For NFL.com's Kevin Patra, defensive line is a place where reinforcements could come in.
"It's been the Chris Jones and George Karlaftis show thus far in Kansas City, where no other lineman has more than six QB pressures in 2025," Patra writes. "Adding someone who can push the pocket, whether on the inside or on the edge, would greatly benefit Steve Spagnuolo's crew."

Chiefs could look to three-time Pro Bowler
With the trade deadline coming closer, it is the time of year when teams that aren't in contention might look to offload a star player in the hopes of getting some decent draft capital in return.
So, I offer Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons as a potential piece to add. Already with two sacks, five tackles for loss, and seven quarterback hits, having Simmons alongside Chris Jones along the interior would make the defensive line more potent.
Money would be a potential issue, with Simmons having a base salary of $17.5 million in 2025 and then a little over $20 million in 2026. Per Over The Cap, a trade of Simmons now would save the Titans $17. 9 million, and they would only eat $5 million in dead money.
Getting Simmons, who is earning $23 million APY, would be a steep price, but he could be looked at as Jones' replacement, given that he is only 28 years old.
Will it happen? Who knows, but the NFL is a funny business, and the Chiefs might just see Simmons as gettable given the Titans' current woes.
