Analysts' Week 15 Chiefs prediction should scare the rest of the NFL image

The rest of the AFC will be watching intently during Week 15 to see if the Kansas City Chiefs will remain alive in the playoff hunt for another week.

Resembling a kid in the school yard who doesn't let anyone else play with the toys, when it comes to the Chiefs always being in the playoffs and always winning the AFC Championship game, the 2025 season has seen the school yard bully be taken down a peg.

But they are still alive for the postseason, and the likes of the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and others will be hoping that the Chiefs don't make it to the playoffs, because they will be a scary team to face in a win-or-go-home game in January.

And Pete Prisco's prediction for the Chiefs/Chargers game in Week 15 will have the rest of the NFL a little nervous.

"This is truly desperation time for the Chiefs," Prisco writes. "They can't afford another loss. The Chargers beat them in Week 1, but this will be different. Los Angeles comes in on a short week and their offensive line is bad. Look for the Chiefs to win it behind their defense."

Chiefs' Week 15 prediction nightmare fuel for AFC

If Prisco's prediction comes to fruition, and the Chiefs beat the Chargers, the rest of the AFC will still be rather nervous. Why? Because the AFC kings still wouldn't have been knocked out of the running for the postseason.

For so long the bogeyman for teams in the conference, there is a chance for the rest of the AFC to finally end the King's five-year dominance in the postseason.

We have seen the Super Bowl go through Kansas City for years, and now there is a chance to buck the trend and allow someone else to play with the toys.

The Chargers have a chance to finally end years of nightmare scenarios for the AFC.

Can they do it?
