The world appears to be falling in on the Kansas City Chiefs, after their 20-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium, with Patrick Mahomes now being 0-2 for the first time in his career.

Granted, we are only two games into the season, but for some, the alarm bells are ringing loud and clear for the once dominant NFL force as their aura of invincibility doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Can they rally? Absolutely. But the margin for error is now incredibly small when we are talking about making the playoffs. However, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith isn't concerned that the Chiefs have dropped their first two games of the season.

“I'm not fazed the Chiefs being 0 and 2,” Smith said on First Take. “They got Patrick Mahomes, and if Travis Kelce doesn't juggle that catch and ultimately get it intercepted, which led to a Jalen Hurts touchdown, the Chiefs may have won this game, but it was a hard-fought game. It was a close game with three minutes left, it was 20-17 after the touchdown pass to Thornton. And you know what? They could have won this game, but it didn't happen.”

Are the Chiefs in trouble?

Depending on who you ask, yes. Others, like Stephen A., aren't too concerned because Mahomes and the Chiefs have built up enough credits in the bank for some to confidently say they'll get it figured out.

Plus, Rashee Rice will return in the coming weeks, so too Xavier Worthy, so that Mahomes will get his two best weapons on the field for the first time this season. All is not lost.

But right now, the Chiefs feel gettable, and that will be the mindset of the New York Giants and Russell Wilson.

Starting 0-2 isn't the end of the world, especially for the Chiefs, but drop to 0-3, and we might have to have an uncomfortable conversation.
