The Denver Broncos' season came to an end at the hands of the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game, as Box Nix was forced to watch from the sidelines.

Jarrett Stidham did the best he could, but costly mistakes were magnified, and the Broncos were sent home.

That brings attention to the offseason and where the Broncos have to strengthen.

The defense is set, being one of the best in football. But the offense? It ranked 14th in scoring (23.6 points per game).

So, for CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan, the Broncos have to get Nix more weapons.

"A couple of the areas the Broncos should look to address this offseason come on the offensive side of the ball," Sullivan wrote. "Courtland Sutton was able to lead the team with 1,017 yards receiving, but Denver did struggle to find a top secondary pass-catching option, volleying from Troy Franklin to Pat Bryant to Marvin Mims at receiver.

"They also never truly got Evan Engram off the ground as Payton's "Joker" at the tight end spot."

Where do Broncos upgrade?

J.K. Dobbins is a free agent, so figuring out where he stands is likely high on the to-do list.

But I'm looking at the receivers.

Aside from Courtland Sutton (1,017 yards), the next best was Troy Franklin (709 yards), and then Evan Engram (461 yards). That is a big drop off.

There needs to be more spread from the Broncos' weapons, and maybe the team looks to address that in free agency or even the draft, but it is clear that Sutton needs help. And from someone who can bring a consistent level of play to the offense.
