The next installment of the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles rivalry is upon us, and Brian Schottenheimer's team desperately needs a win to keep their positive momentum rolling.

But the Eagles, particularly on defense, make life hell for just about every team they face, and while the Cowboys generally matchup well against Philadelphia when Dak Prescott is healthy, this year the Eagles' defensive front is nightmare fuel.

Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, and the likes will present a big challenge for the offense to try to move the ball consistently.

But Javonte Williams has an idea of what makes the Eagles' defense so good, but also knows how the Cowboys might try to get after them.

"I think it's more the scheme," Williams said. "They don't really do too much, so they can just go out and just play free. I feel like that's when teams are the most dangerous when they just know what's going on and they can play free. They don't got a whole lot of thinking to do. So, we just got to try to confuse them up front a little bit, get double teams, things like that, and just play together."

Cowboys start brutal 12-day stretch with Eagles clash

The Cowboys will play three games in 12 days, with the Eagles first up, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving, before a tough road trip to face the Detroit Lions.

It will be this three-game stretch that will see if the Cowboys can rally and make something of the season, or if the final nails in the playoff coffin will be placed.

Three tough teams in quick succession is a brutal stretch for the Cowboys, but if they can come out of it in good shape, then who knows where this team can go in the coming months.

Granted, it is a tall order, but it starts with the first step against the Eagles. Take care of business at home.

Williams has an idea on how to counter Philadelphia's ridiculous defensive front. Let's see how Schottenheimer's offense fares against one of the NFL's best.
