Cowboys facing crucial NFC showdown vs. Lions

Given the form Dallas is in, all week in the national media, we have seen many state that if the Cowboys beat the Lions, there is a real chance Schottenheimer's team can run the table and make the playoffs.

That puts a huge emphasis on Dallas beating the Lions.

So, the Cowboys, if they can beat Detroit, will signal to the rest of the NFL that they're the real deal.
