Dallas Cowboys receiver George Pickens and his long-term future have become the center of attention after owner Jerry Jones stated that the team does have the financial means to sign George long-term.

That has since stirred up a frenzy over what Pickens is worth, whether Dallas would want to sign him, and whether Pickens even wants to stay a Cowboy.

George stated he "wouldn't mind it," but as we know, Dallas and contracts aren't the best duo.

Still, it appears Pickens extending his stay in Dallas isn't off the table, and he's revealed one thing that will be key in how he decides his next move, and it's got nothing to do with money.

"Definitely winning," Pickens said. "I feel like just because that's been like my resume the whole time. time I won in high school, I won at Georgia. So that's probably definitely winning, and I always think about winning."

Could Cowboys convince Pickens to stay long-term?

Of course, they could, and if winning takes precedence over everything, including money, that will be music to Dallas' ears.

But will the Cowboys be in a position to win consistently next season? Possibly, and we know that with a healthy Dak Prescott, Dallas is almost always a playoff team, and it isn't too long ago that Dak and Co. had three straight 12-5 seasons.

So, Pickens has a lot to weigh up when it comes to his future, and of course, money will play a factor; it always does, and the Cowboys do their best to make it hard for all involved when it comes to negotiations.

But at least now they know what George values, and it doesn't appear to be paid like a top receiver - he wants to be on a winning team.
