Cowboys' George Pickens earns incredible comparison to top-5 all-time WR for a very specific reason image

Dallas Cowboys receiver George Pickens is the talk of the NFL world after his devastating performance in the Cowboys' 33-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on Monday night.

Pickens, after being benched for the first series along with CeeDee Lamb, emerged as a force, posting 144 yards and a touchdown from his nine receptions.

But the biggest and best thing was that on a couple of catches, Pickens would take the quick pass from Dak Prescott and then proceed to turn upfield, making several Raiders defenders miss, with one being a long-winding touchdown for 37 yards.

And for 105.3 The Fan's Bobby Belt, watching Pickens reminded him of Hall of Famer Terrell Owens.

"That's Terrell Owens," Belt said. "That's who it looked like. That's the way Terrell Owens used to get big catches. You would see him take a slant and just start navigating the field, and you're like, how the hell is nobody catching him?

"The touchdown that Pickens had, that doesn't look like a move that should have led to him scoring. He's just so smooth, that's the way TO [Owens] used to be."

Pickens enjoying career-year with Cowboys

There is no denying that the Cowboys have "won" the Pickens trade, as he has already posted 908 yards and seven touchdowns in his 10 games this season.

He has already surpassed his yards and touchdown totals from last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers (900 yards, seven touchdowns), and there are still a host of games left.

He only needs six more receptions to have a career-high in that category, too, so Pickens has landed in the perfect place for the world to see his talents. A big decision is in front of owner Jerry Jones with George on the final year of his rookie contract.

And based on how Pickens is playing, he'll get the bag, whether that be with Dallas or elsewhere.
