First-look video of Shedeur Sanders throwing in NFL turns heads at Browns minicamp image

The Shedeur Sanders era in Cleveland is officially underway.

On Friday, Sanders was participating in the Browns' rookie minicamp, where he was seen throwing passes for his new team for the first time. 

It was the first glimpses at the quarterback in action since he became the story of the 2025 NFL Draft, falling down the draft board into the fifth round before Cleveland selected him as its second rookie passer.

Sanders, rocking his new No. 12 for Cleveland, had his orange and brown uniform on Friday as the Browns rookies worked out on a sunny day. Here's a look at a series of passes from the former Colorado quarterback:

While the Browns' 2025 season is still a few months away and it remains to be seen whether Sanders could start over Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, or Dillon Gabriel, the former Colorado star seemed to get off to a strong start in Friday's practice.
