Burrow suffered an apparent injury when he was sacked on second down midway through the second quarter. He remained on the ground for a few moments, received assistance from Cincinnati's training staff, and was subbed out before third down. He exited for the locker room while the Bengals were on defense.

Joe Burrow injury update
After Cincinnati's win, Burrow was in a walking boot with a single crutch, according to The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr.
Burrow was ruled out for the remainder of Week 2 due to the toe injury, the Bengals announced.
Burrow has undergone an MRI on his toe and is using a one-legged scooter to not put any weight on his left foot or toe, per Joe Danneman of Cincinnati's Fox affiliate.

Burrow is undergoing an MRI on the injured toe, according to Jeremy Rauch, reporter from Cincinnati's Fox affiliate.
Burrow was helped off the field by two Bengals staffers. No injury distinction was given initially, but trainers focused on Burrow's left foot, and he favored his left side when walking off the field.
The CBS broadcast shared that trainers attempted to work on Burrow's ankle area before bringing him to the locker room.

The Bengals' backup QB is Jake Browning.
Browning is in his fifth season with the Bengals organization after first joining the practice squad in 2021. He first joined the 53-man roster in 2023 and, through his first two seasons on the field, appeared in 12 games.
