Is Rome Odunze injured? Bears WR anonymous in first quarter vs. Rams image

The Chicago Bears have a huge chance to advance to the NFC Championship game, facing the Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field.

But to do that, Caleb Williams will need his weapons to come to the party.

In a tight first quarter, D.J. More, Colston Loveland, and Luther Burden all got their hands on the ball.

But one receiver didn't.

Rome Odunze.

The second-year wide-out had just one target in the snowy conditions and didn't come down with the catch.

Now, into the second quarter, if Chicago wants to slay the Rams, Rome will need to get involved.

Williams doing Williams things

After a failed fourth-down call on the opening series of the game, the Rams then walked down the field and scored a touchdown thanks to Kyren Williams.

But Caleb bounced back, leading a touchdown drive of his own.

And perhaps in true Bears fashion, going for it on fourth-down again, Williams found Moore in the end zone to make it 7-7.

And that was without Odunze, who has yet to have a reception.

But we expect that to change as the game goes on.
