The Chicago Bears are 0-2 to start the 2025 NFL season and there has been a lot to forget about already. Chicago will face the Dallas Cowboys (1-1) at home this Sunday.
This is a must-win game for the Bears or there are going to be major questions about the future. There could already be problems with quarterback Caleb Williams and general manager Ryan Poles in Chicago. Ben Johnson is in his first season as head coach with the franchise and a win on Sunday against the Cowboys can go a long way. However, is the Bears 2025 NFL season already toast?
NFL Insider Is Already Out on the Chicago Bears in 2025
Chicago finished with a 5-12 record during the 2024 NFL season and people feel like the Bears are on track to have a lost 2025 NFL season. Adam Schein of CBS Sports was on Mad Dog Sports Radio talking about the Bears 0-2 start to the 2025 season. Schein feels like the Bears are the same old Bears and said,
"I am out on the Chicago Bears."
Even with this statement, the Bears are favored by -1.5 points at home on Sunday against the Cowboys. Chicago may win this game against Dallas, but they are already 0-2 in the NFC North division, and they have not played the Green Bay Packers yet.
If the Bears were to lose against the Cowboys, Chicago is on track to have another last place finish in the NFC North division this season. This team has a lot of talent on the roster, but things don't seem to be meshing for some reason.
Would Johnson bench Williams for Tyson Bagent if they drop to 0-3? Some people want to believe that would happen, but it would be hard to imagine that. It is understandable why Schein is out on the Bears. Not only does Williams look not so great, but the defense has also been horrible through the first two weeks of the 2025 NFL season.
