Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen used to be a turnover machine in the early days of his career, as the gunslinging mentality often got him and his team into trouble.
But over the past couple of seasons, with the help of Joe Brady, Allen hasn't just slowed the turnovers down; he's nearly cut them out altogether, and here is an eyebrow-raising stat.
Since the beginning of last year to now, including the playoffs, in 23 games, Allen has just six interceptions, after posting at least 14 per season from 2021 through to 2023. Yeah, that's a big difference.
And for Josh, while many think his main job is to score points as the leader of the offense (which he does better than nearly everyone), he detailed that it isn't the case. One thing is far more critical than that.
“I think coach always talks about it, mindset, and the ball, and taking care of the football,” Allen said. “That's my main job. Take care of the football and score points, and do whatever I can do to not hurt ourselves, not put us in worse situations.
"At the end of the day, each and every play doesn't need to be a home run, but as long as we're taking singles, finding completions, staying in front of the sticks and scoring points, can't argue with the results.”

Is Josh Allen the best QB in football?
There is certainly a case to be made that right now, based on form, he is.
Coming off an MVP-winning season in 2024, the Bills have again raced out to a 3-0 start, with Allen throwing for five touchdowns, no interceptions, while posting career-highs in completion percentage (69.7), QBR (81.3), and passer rating (108.8). Yeah, he might be the best.
Granted, this is only a small sample size in 2025, but as Allen stated, you can't argue with the results, and so far, the results have been superb. The Bills are the favorites for the Super Bowl and rightly so, and as long as Allen continues to take care of the football, this offense will score points at will.
Allen is doing his "main job" to perfection, and it might be the reason that, come the end of the season, the Bills have their first-ever Lombardi Trophy.
