The Buffalo Bills will enter the offseason knowing that once they get their head coach, attention has to quickly turn to fixing the roster.

The offense with Josh Allen has a few holes, with receiver the most pressing need for some.

Others think defense after yet another failed playoff campaign.

With Brandon Beane now overseeing the entire football operation, the consensus is that in the first round, the Bills could go receiver to help Allen.

Not many would disagree with that, but in his latest mock draft, NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah has Georgia linebacker CJ Allen coming to Buffalo.

"Linebacker could be a need for Buffalo with Matt Milano and Shaq Thompson ticketed for free agency. Allen can run and hit, but he also has the intangibles you want at the position," Jeremiah wrote. "The Bills need to improve a defense that ranked 28th against the run."

WR has to be priority for Bills

Given the train wreck of a press conference, the Bills have to address the receiver position in the offseason, don't they? Yes, defense is also high on the list.

Whether that be in free agency or the draft, Buffalo and Beane have to get No. 17 a top weapon.

One can only imagine the backlash if the Bills don't get a receiver in free agency and then go defense with their first-round pick in the draft.

Allen is in his prime and did well enough to make it as far as he did in the postseason, but a genuine match-winner on the outside was lacking.

Buffalo has to get him one this offseason.
