Is Khalil Shakir injured? The Bills' top weapon a first-quarter no-show vs. Steelers image

The Buffalo Bills are locked in a tough AFC battle against the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road, as Josh Allen and the offense look to get their groove back.

But things haven't started in the best of ways for Joe Brady's team.

Allen was picked off on the Bills' first possession, and then was forced to punt at midfield on their second possession.

And with 1:48 left in the first quarter, Buffalo's best offensive weapon outside of James Cook, Khalil Shakir, was a non-factor.

In fact, he didn't even register a single reception for the offense.

Surely that will change as the game goes on, but early, when the Bills wanted to get some momentum, Shakir didn't see the ball.

Bills under pressure vs. Steelers

Coming into Week 14, the Bills were hanging onto the AFC's seventh seed, and considering how the franchise has played over the past couple of weeks, their playoff spot is anything but secure.

Getting a tough AFC win over the Steelers would be the perfect remedy for a Bills team that is beginning to feel outside pressure on the franchise.

This was supposed to be the year that the Bills ' Super Bowl drought was to end, but now, as we are in Week 14, the playoffs even look shaky.

But getting a win over the Steelers and getting Shakir involved is a good way to increase your chances.
