Ever since Brandin Cooks arrived in town for the Buffalo Bills, he's done nothing but be the best version of himself.

Not a huge snap getter in Joe Brady's unit, but when the Bills need a play, Cooks pops up.

And against the Jacksonville Jaguars, in a 27-24 win, Cooks again came up big for the Bills.

Late in the fourth quarter, as Buffalo was driving, needing a touchdown to take the lead, Allen and Cooks connected for a 36-yard completion that set the Bills up at the Jaguars' 20-yard line and the rest is history.

"Yeah, it's been awesome,” Allen said on Cooks' time in Buffalo. “A true pros pro, does everything the right way. He's always in the building, always learning, always on the sideline getting extra catches. Just does everything the right way. He's a hell of a teammate, we love having him here.”

Cooks Buffalo's secret weapon?

With Khalil Shakir and James Cook the two players defenses have to account for, after Sunday's exploits that saw Cook roll to 58 yards from three receptions, maybe we can add another.

No, Cook won't be a high-volume target, but as we saw in Jacksonville, when the Bills need a big play, Cooks still has the speed to motor downfield and with Allen, he has a quarterback who can get him the ball in a hurry.

So, for all of the weapons Buffalo has, maybe Cooks is the one that could be the key piece in delivering a Super Bowl title this season.
