Josh Allen injury update: Bills offer insight on QB's foot injury ahead of Week 18 image

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was a big watch post-game after the 13-12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The MVP winner hurt his foot in the loss, and while he stated post-game he was fine, it's clear he wasn't.

The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia posted on X that Allen was seen limping into the X-ray room. That sent a shudder down the spine of Bill's Mafia.

But a day on, how is Allen traveling? Buscaglia gave an update on Monday.

"Bills HC Sean McDermott said QB Josh Allen is dealing with some soreness and mentions it's kind of like last week, but slightly in a better spot than he was this time last week. Allen's X-rays came back negative from last night."

Will Allen play in Week 18?

Allen's availability for Week 18 depends on how Buffalo feels about its playoff seeding.

It can rise from No. 7 to No. 5 if it beats the New York Jets and the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Houston Texans lose.

But is there that much difference?

If Allen isn't 100 percent healthy, then it might be a good idea to sit No. 17 to let him rest up ahead of the playoffs.

Yes, seeding is important, but not as important as the health of your most important weapon.

Some sections of Bills Mafia will want Allen to sit out Week 18, and I don't blame them.
