Over the past two seasons, the Buffalo Bills' receiver room has come under scrutiny due to a lack of a No. 1 weapon for Josh Allen.
Last year, it didn't matter as the Bills made the AFC Championship game and Allen won MVP, but this year? Yeah, doubts are creeping in over the current receiver crop.
The 30-13 loss to the then 2-7 Miami Dolphins was embarrassing for the Bills, who couldn't get out of their own way on offense, as Allen and James Cook each fumbled, and Allen threw a red-zone interception.
But that might not be the worst of it.
Per Nex Gen Stats, against the Dolphins, Allen had a whopping 3.53 seconds to throw, which was the most time since 2018, and the offense still couldn't function.
That means that Allen had time to throw, but his receivers couldn't get separation, and as such, Allen was sacked three times by the Dolphins, and it now marks back-to-back games of three sacks for the defending MVP.

Allen's receivers now under pressure
Khalil Shakir was again the best of Allen's weapons, hauling in seven receptions for 58 yards, while Keon Coleman posted 46 yards and a touchdown from his three receptions, yet the Bills were held scoreless for three quarters.
That, in itself, is horrific for an offense that just a couple of weeks ago was averaging 30 points per game. But something is clearly off, and yes, last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, everything was superb.
But the inconsistencies are now becoming consistent, and Allen's receivers simply aren't getting the job done, and with 3.53 seconds to throw, still couldn't get separation regularly.
All is not well with Buffalo, folks.
