Week 18 is meaningless for a lot of players, but for others, like Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox, there is a lot of money on the line.

With players having incentives built into their contracts for getting a certain number of yards, touchdowns, receptions, etc., some are close enough to hit those incentives in Week 18.

And Knox was.

He needed seven receiving yards for a $100,000 bonus and a touchdown for another $100,000 to be added to the bank account.

And in the first quarter against the New York Jets in the Highmark Stadium finale, Mitch Trubisky hit Knox for a touchdown pass, along with the tight end racking up 24 receiving yards early to hit both his incentives.

And in the process, another $200,000 is coming to Dawson's bank account.

Knox having good season for Bills

Not a big reception getter, Knox has been a good contributor for Joe Brady's offense in 2025.

Racking up 393 yards and three touchdowns from 34 receptions prior to Week 18, Knox has been a bit-part player.

Yet, when his number is called, he often steps up.

It is the most yards and receptions the tight end has had since 2022, as he has been forced to take a backseat with the emergence of Dalton Kincaid.

But in Week 18, Knox had a rather profitable first quarter, scooping a cool $200,000.
