The Buffalo Bills sit at 10-4 with a chance to clinch their spot in the playoffs in Week 16 if they win, and results go their way.
Given the state of the AFC and the quarterbacks who are already out of contention (Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow), and Lamar Jackson, who is hanging on for dear life, Allen is the only "top liner" who could be in the postseason from the AFC.
Without his kryptonite in Mahomes stopping him, could this be the year that the Bills and Allen finally break through in the postseason?
In his playoff prediction, ESPN's Dan Graziano has Buffalo winning the AFC.
"The Bills will win the AFC," Graziano writes. "We still don't know yet whether they're going to the playoffs as a wild-card team or as division champs for the sixth year in a row (or at all, technically). But assuming they're there, they would certainly be the most playoff-tested of the likely AFC teams."

Bills have superb Super Bowl chance
Considering the quarterback landscape in 2025 and the number of stars that Allen and Co. Won't have to face, there is a real chance that this could be Buffalo's time to strike.
Drake Maye and Bo Nix are still young and inexperienced, Aaron Rodgers, Trevor Lawrence, and Justin Herbert are so-so, and then you have C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans defense.
So, it isn't the quarterback gauntlet that we have seen in the past couple of years, and especially if the playoff spots stay as they are, Lamar also wouldn't be in Allen's way.
The path has cleared for the Bills. Three weeks to put themselves into the best possible position for a Super Bowl run.
It might be now or never for Allen.
