The Buffalo Bills are officially at a crisis point at the receiver position.

Already with what some would call a "less-than" group, Buffalo lost both Tyrell Shavers and Gabe Davis to ACL injuries in the playoff win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Now, as the Bills look to plan for the trip to Mile High to face the Denver Broncos, many are scrambling to find solutions to Buffalo's receiver problem.

But the answer might lie with someone who is already on the roster -- Curtis Samuel.

Is he ready to push the limits after just being activated in order to play against the Broncos?

“It's more of a desire because if you lose, you go home," Samuel said. "Of course, we don't want that. So, just by getting myself in the right mental space, get my body right, prepared to just be great at practice."

But could Curtis suit up against Denver?

"We're going to take it one day at a time and just try to get myself in the right headspace," he added.

Samuel could be missing piece for Bills

In his six games before his injury, Samuel only caught seven passes for 81 yards and a touchdown.

That doesn't seem like much.

But when you look further, three of those seven catches went for 14, 21, and 26 yards.

Curtis moves those chains.

The speed and downfield threat could be key in moving the ball on this Denver defense, much like Brandin Cooks.

Exactly how much Samuel could play is unknown, and in truth, he isn't likely to play the majority of the game, that's if he's even activated.

But still, it's another body at the receiver position, and right now, the Bills need all the help they can get.
