I've said for the past few weeks that this feels like "the" time for Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills to finally win that elusive Super Bowl.

Why? Because Allen is the best quarterback in the playoffs.

And his kryptonite in Patrick Mahomes isn't in his way this time, nor is Joe Burrow's or Lamar Jackson's.

That means the Bills have the best player in football at the most important position.

And for CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan, Allen is the biggest X-Factor in the postseason.

“The defending NFL MVP remains the great equalizer of these playoffs,” Sullivan wrote. “For the most part, the Jaguars had Buffalo in the crosshairs, and it felt like they were in a strong position to pull off the win and advance.

"So, what happened? Josh Allen put on the Superman cape. The Bills have the best quarterback in the playoffs, and that might be enough to get them over the hump.”

Bills' Superman must power Super Bowl charge

The win over the Jacksonville Jaguars proved one thing about the Bills.

When Allen is the mild-mannered Clark Kent, his team can easily get behind, but when he transforms into Superman, the Bills look like a completely different team.

That was on show at EverBank Stadium.

In the fourth quarter, Buffalo had two possessions, and Allen led them to touchdowns, both of which were 10+ plays and 60+ yards.

Superman arrived.

And if the Bills are to capitalize on them having the best quarterback in the playoffs, they have to let Superman loose.
