The Buffalo Bills are on the hunt for their next head coach, and they haven't started the process off very well.

The disaster of a press conference with owner Terry Pegula and general manager Brandon Beane has left the Bills as the laughingstock of the NFL.

And with that, they don't appear to be a desirable destination despite having Josh Allen.

Brian Daboll has interviewed for the vacant head coach role, but in a hiring cycle that doesn't have big names, Buffalo could be forced to go with re-treads.

And for CBS Sports' Jared Dubin, he's named the Bills as a "loser" of the head coach carousel this offseason.

"The Bills land here less because of the firing itself and more because they elevated Brandon Beane to an even more powerful role despite his presiding over a roster that has backslid over the past several years, then followed it with a disastrous press conference from Beane and owner Terry Pegula explaining both the firing and the promotion," Dubin wrote.

"Add in the fact that this is not an ideal hiring cycle in which to search for McDermott's replacement, and the Bills land here with relative ease."

Who will be Bills head coach?

In an ideal world, you would get someone better than McDermott. I'm not sure Buffalo will.

But there are candidates that are interesting.

Joe Brady looms as one, having already had success with Allen and the franchise.

Daboll is the other, who, like Brady, has already had success with Allen, and the chemistry is there.

So, they are the two names I would watch for in the coming weeks, as in my opinion, the head coach has to be one who can get the most out of No. 17 so he can take this team to the Super Bowl.
