The Buffalo Bills' win over the Kansas City Chiefs lifted the mood of the entire franchise, but not everyone is happy.
An Achilles injury to defensive end Michael Hoecht and an ankle injury to James Cook soured what was an otherwise superb Week 9 for the Bills.
Clearly, Hoecht is out for the season, and as for Cook, The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia posted on X that head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Cook has been "sore" for the past few days.
So that puts into doubt James' availability for Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins, and Josh Allen, for one, is hoping No. 4 suits up.
"I said this in training camp, there's no replacing James Cook," Allen said. "So hopefully he's doing everything that he needs to be doing, which again, he's a true pro. He's going to be doing that, and hopefully we can have him back by time game time rolls around."

Bills won't risk Cook vs. Miami
Granted, that is me talking, not the team, but against the lowly Dolphins, if Cook isn't 100 percent healthy, then he should take a seat.
Ray Davis and Ty Johnson have proved that, as a tandem, they can step in for Cook if needed, and the Miami Dolphins right now are a basket case, having scored just six points in their loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Bills have eyes on the ultimate prize, and you could make the case that their chances seriously diminish if Cook isn't healthy.
Buffalo will no doubt give Cook all the time he needs to recover, but if there is even an inkling that he isn't right, have him sit out.
