Buffalo Bills running back James Cook had Bills Mafia sweating this week as he missed practice with an ankle injury, leading some to think that his status for Sunday against the Miami Dolphins was in doubt.
Josh Allen stated, "There's no replacing James Cook," and the defending MVP is right, given how well James has been running the ball this season.
But as we get closer to Sunday, all eyes will be on James to see how his ankle is traveling, and for those who are worried that Cook will miss the Week 10 game against the Miami Dolphins, well, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
“I’m ready to go,” Cook said on the Up & Adams Show. “Be out there when it’s time to play on Sunday.”

Cook injury news huge for Bills
Given how much Joe Brady's offense leans on the run game, having Cook "ready to go" is a great thing, and yes, it is "only" Miami, who have its own share of troubles, but in the Week 3 outing, Buffalo only beat the Dolphins 31-21, so it will be anything but a straightforward game.
Yes, the Bills should be taking care of business here, but it is a division game, and they have a funny way of producing odd results.
For Cook, he's already totaled 867 yards and seven touchdowns from eight games, as he has career-highs in both categories in his sights. The Dolphins' defense does give up a lot of rushing yards, and last time out, Cook rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown.
So, we can likely expect more of the same from Cook, who, for a minute, looked like he might miss Week 10, but make no mistake, he's ready to roll for this division clash.
