The Buffalo Bills flexed their offensive muscle in the 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and for the first time in quite a while, we had a Superman sighting.

Having gotten used to the mild-mannered Clark Kent, Josh Allen, perhaps due to his own mistakes, was forced to put on the Superman cape against Tampa Bay and put the team on his back.

His two interceptions were poor, but Allen produced a six-touchdown game (three passing, three rushing) to become the first player in NFL history with two games like that.

So, Allen was superb, and the Bills beat an NFC contender by double-digits.

For CBS Sports' John Breech, that deserves an "A-" grade.

"Josh Allen might have just forced himself back into the MVP conversation," Breech wrote. "The Bills QB put on his Superman cape and willed Buffalo to a win with a SIX TOUCHDOWN performance that saw him run for three scores and pass for three scores. When Allen is playing like this, the Bills (7-3) are pretty much impossible to beat."

Bills' season back on track after Bucs win

Things did look a little wobbly after the two-game losing streak, but the Bills then came out post-bye, beat the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs before losing to the Miami Dolphins.

Then the Buccaneers won, so the Bills have shown what they are capable of. Now it is just a matter of producing it consistently.

At 7-3, the Bills are still in great shape, and while the division might be out of reach by the time Buffalo plays the New England Patriots in Week 15, Sean McDermott's team can punch its ticket to the postseason, and once there, the real stuff starts.

And in an ideal world, Allen won't have to put on the Superman cape again.
