Analyst thinks Bills' Sean McDermott is 'wasting Josh Allen's prime' image

One thing we know about the NFL is that it is a week-to-week league, and last week, the Buffalo Bills were the talk of the town after beating the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fast forward to now, and after a 30-13 blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins, the pitchforks are sharpened and are coming for everyone in the organization.

The passing game once again was horrible against Miami, general manager Brandon Beane is catching heat for not giving Josh Allen a No.1 weapon, and head coach Sean McDermott, for FS1's Colin Cowherd, is wasting Allen's best years.

"Here's my thing with Sean McDermott, something's always leaking, and it takes him an entire offseason to figure it out," Cowherd said. "You don't have an offseason. You're wasting Josh Allen's prime."

Will Bills fire Sean McDermott?

That might seem heavy-handed, but the Bills came into this season with potentially their best shot in recent memory of getting to the Super Bowl, which would have been the first time in McDermott's tenure as coach.

But at 6-3, second in the division, and things appearing to go south, that doesn't look likely.

Now, can things change? Absolutely. There are more than enough games left, but things have to start turning now.

McDermott won't be fired in-season (I don't think), but come at the end of the year, if the Bills don't at least get to the Super Bowl, then the offseason might be rather uncomfortable for Buffalo.

Why? Because sweeping changes could be afoot.
