The Baltimore Ravens' offense had its way with the Detroit Lions in the first half at M&T Bank Stadium, with Lamar Jackson being nearly automatic through the air.
Lamar was 8 of 9 for 98 yards and a touchdown, but what is rather odd is that none of his completions were to star receiver Zay Flowers.
In fact, Flowers wasn't even targeted in the first half as Baltimore's biggest weapon not named Derrick Henry or Lamar didn't have any impact in the game, which is certainly odd, given that Flowers, through two weeks, has 14 receptions for 218 yards and a touchdown.
Instead, it was Devontez Walker (34 yards), Mark Andrews (27 yards), Rashod Bateman, and DeAndre Hopkins (both 13 yards) who Jackson targeted, but as for Flowers? The Lions' defense did a good job of taking No. 4 away completely, yet the Ravens' offense still managed to function.

Flowers a key weapon for Ravens offense
Going by the first half against the Lions, you wouldn't know it, as Flowers was kept out of the game completely.
It is worth noting that in both games this season, Zay has had seven receptions in each game, along with at least nine targets, so it shows just what a great job the Lions' secondary is doing on Flowers to not allow even a target in his direction.
We imagine that Lamar will be aware of this and in the second half, look for No. 4 to get some targets, because this can't continue for four quarters...can it?
