The Baltimore Ravens have gotten their teeth into the 2025 season after the 41-17 win over the Cleveland Browns to put the Week 1 debacle against the Buffalo Bills in the rearview mirror.
Now coming up against an NFC power in the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football, it will be yet another test for the Ravens and Lamar Jackson against one of the better teams in football.
But there might be something that gives the Ravens the edge here.
When playing on Monday Night Football at home, the Ravens, per NFL.com's Brooke Cersosimo, are nearly automatic, and as for Lamar? Well, he's perfect.
"The Ravens have the highest win percentage (.763) in home prime-time games among all NFL franchises since 1970," Cersosimo wrote. "Not to mention, their two-time league MVP is 7-2 with 22 pass TDs and zero(!) interceptions in Monday night games -- that's the most pass TDs without a pick by any player on a single day of the week all time."
That is quite the stat line for Jackson and the Ravens, and they will be looking to continue that against the Lions.

The last meeting was a brutal 38-6 win back in 2023. That game saw the Ravens have over 500 yards of total offense, with Jackson throwing for 357 yards and three touchdowns as Baltimore was up 35-0 halfway through the third quarter.
Lamar and Co. would ideally like something similar, but this Lions team is a different beast than back then, and this has all the makings of a serious shootout at M&T Bank Stadium.
Can Jackson and the Ravens keep their incredible streaks going in home games on Monday Night Football? We can't wait to find out.
