One of the biggest storylines to come out of the first three weeks of the season for the Baltimore Ravens hasn't been the team's 1-2 start; it's been the form of running back Derrick Henry.

And more pointed, his now crippling fumbling issue.

Having had just three fumbles through the entire 2023 and 2024 seasons, through three weeks of 2025, Henry already has three, with two of them coming in the fourth quarter with the game on the line.

His last, against the Detroit Lions, saw Henry irate with himself on the sidelines, and even though a few days have passed since Monday night, Derrick is still annoyed at what transpired.

"I'm still mad at myself, I'm my worst critic,” Henry said. “I talk to my family, my teammates, lean on them, but at the same time, it's a problem I got to get fixed. I'm working as hard as I can to let this issue be resolved. It's tough right now. It's been consecutive weeks back-to-back-to-back, which is crazy.

"Nobody fix it but yourself. So, I got to accept it like a man. Everything that comes with it, I accept because it's my responsibility to take care of the ball for this organization.”

Henry's fumbles key to poor start in 2025

Henry's Week 1 performance of two touchdowns for 169 yards was sublime, but it was his fourth-quarter fumble that allowed the Buffalo Bills back into the game, and it was one the Ravens would go on to lose.

Week 2 was another fumble against the Cleveland Browns, coupled with just 23 rushing yards, and then against Detroit, only 50 rushing yards and another brutal fourth-quarter fumble.

Henry has been one of the best backs in football for so long, and he still is, but he is going through a tough patch right now, and up next are the Kansas City Chiefs, who will look to feast on the ball security issue now plaguing Henry.

This brutal form dip has to stop soon, right?
