The Baltimore Ravens, like most of the league, are on the hunt for a new head coach.

This has been the offseason for head coach firings, it seems, and the Ravens are just one of a host of teams looking for their new leader.

But who could take over from John Harbaugh?

Given that Lamar Jackson is at the helm, an offensive-minded head coach is a likely candidate.

But again, who?

CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan thinks former Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury is the ideal candidate.

"Kingsbury is widely viewed as one of the top candidates on the market this cycle, and he appears to be an ideal fit for Jackson and the rest of the Ravens offense, Sullivan wrote. "If he can tune Baltimore's offense in a similar way around Jackson, the Ravens could be back among the league's top contenders in short order."

Kingsbury in Baltimore makes sense

Given the Ravens' offensive weapons, in Jackson, Derrick Henry, Mark Andrews, and Zay Flowers, there's more than enough to work with for Kingsbury.

His work in Washington, developing a top run game, should bode well for the Ravens, because a key staple of their offense under Todd Monken was running the football.

But where Kingsbury has to improve this offense, if he gets the job, is the passing game.

Lamar has taken great strides in that area, but he needs to grow, and with some nice pieces around him, maybe Kingsbury is the one to scheme up better passing concepts for Jackson.

There are a host of viable candidates, but Kingsbury might just be the pick of the bunch if Baltimore wants an offensive guy.
