The Baltimore Ravens must have walked under a ladder or broken countless mirrors due to the bad luck they have faced in the opening month.
A 1-3 start, coupled with a crippling injury list that saw six players with a DNP on Thursday, and another six who were limited. Just bad luck, right? Well, maybe not.
For those who like to indulge in the mysterious elements of the world, maybe some sort of witchcraft is at play here, as one X user posted a picture of a conversation that they paid an Etsy witch to curse an NFL team this season.

Nothing major, right? Well, until the team the "witch" cursed was named.
the ravens!

So, does the "curse" have something to do with Baltimore's horror start? Or is it a simple case of bad luck?
The best thing about it is that there is no clear answer. What you choose to believe is yours to decide.
But if the Ravens continue to spiral south, we might have to revisit this in a couple of weeks.

Ravens face defining two weeks
Witchcraft or not, the Ravens have some serious winning to do, and while their "bad juju" might be down to the witch, John Harbaugh's team is going to have to overcome it if they have any intention of making the playoffs.
Of course, going against cosmic forces isn't for the faint-hearted, and it will be Cooper Rush who will be tasked with trying to overcome the mysterious forces that are at play.
With the Houston Texans and the Los Angeles Rams up next, there is a real possibility the Ravens are 1-5 heading into their bye week, and that isn't a place Baltimore wants to be. But it might be fighting a losing battle with the curse that has been placed upon them.
The Ravens' poor form to start 2025 might have nothing to do with them and everything to do with the mysterious forces at play.
Make of that what you will.
