The Baltimore Ravens must have wondered what has cursed them this season, with Lamar Jackson just coming back from injury, only to be absent from practice this week.
After the 27-19 win over the Minnesota Vikings that saw Lamar take some hard hits, when the Ravens' injury report dropped on Wednesday, Jackson was listed as a DNP with a knee issue.
That's just yuck.
And head coach John Harbaugh gave fans an update on the two-time MVP winner.
“He’ll be listed as a knee," Harbaugh said via Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan. "He had some soreness coming out of the game but he should be ok. Sounds like it’s a possibility he could practice tomorrow."
Harbaugh did play down Lamar's absense, stating it isn't in the "same category as before" and said it is normal for players to miss a Wednesday practice.
So, all eyes will be on Jackson the next time Baltimore hits the practice field in preparation for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Ravens need Lamar for Browns clash
Going by Harbaugh's words it does feel like the Ravens are just being cautious with their star quarterback, and yes, it is only Wednesday, so there is plenty of time for Lamar's soreness to dissipate as the week goes on.
With the Ravens at 4-5 and on a three-game winning streak, they need to maintain the rage against the Browns in a game that fullback Patrick Ricard said would be a "who quits first" contest, as the AFC North is a brutal place to play football.
The Ravens will still fancy their chances, but even more so if Jackson takes his place on Sunday.
