Most of us are now coming to terms with John Harbaugh no longer being the Baltimore Ravens head coach after 18 years.

Still, it takes a bit of getting used to.

With Harbaugh out, there was a thought that one reason was his relationship with Lamar Jackson; with several reports out there that things might not have been so cozy, it could have been the reason.

That then led to the idea that maybe Lamar played a role in John's firing, which we know doesn't seem to be Jackson's style.

And as owner, Steve Bisciotti fronted the media, he said as much.

“I don’t think that the players had a large part in my decision,” Bisciotti said. “My decision by Monday was pretty much set. By the time I got off the phone with Lamar, I had told him that my decision was pretty set. But when I hang up with you, I don’t want you to think that the decision was ironclad. That was Monday night.”

Who will be Ravens new head coach?

Your guess is as good as mine at this point.

Brian Flores, who has already interviewed for the role, appears to be most people's favorite, but interviews are likely to continue over the coming weeks.

With Harbaugh out, the Ravens' head coaching role has become one of the most sought-after positions in football, and as such, Baltimore will have a host of candidates to work through.

Having been with Harbaugh for 18 years, this process is a little new to Baltimore, but given the talent on the roster, the head coach appointment has to be right.

Because the franchise won't want to waste another season of Lamar's career.
