Derrick Henry made history as he helped the Baltimore Ravens claim a 30-16 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season.
The running back's two visits to the endzone on Sunday (October 26) saw him move up to fifth place in the all-time list for NFL rushing touchdowns.
Henry's current tally of 112 rushing touchdowns means he has passed former Bears star and NFL icon Walter Payton outright.
The 31-year-old's two-yard rush to the endzone in the second quarter of his most recent outing saw him separate himself from the Super Bowl XX winner on the list.
The former Tennessee Titans star then travelled the same distance for a touchdown in the remaining minutes of Sunday's contest to put the game out of the Bears' reach.
"I'm trying to be so appreciative about all of the things, I'm always going to give homage and pay homage to the ones that came before me. It's such a cool thing," the Ravens star said after surpassing Payton.
"I've been blessed with the teammates and coaches I had throughout the years to reach that milestone, but (there's) still more to do, and I looking forward to being better."
Henry's contributions were ultimately crucial for ensuring John Harbaugh's team ended a four-game losing streak and gained a second win for the season.

Four names left for Henry to conquer in NFL rushing TDs list

With Henry up to fifth outright in all-time rushing touchdowns, he will be sure to have his eyes set on the four players above him on the list.
Adrian Peterson is next in the Ravens star's sights, with 120 rushing touchdowns recorded across his 15-season stay in the league.
Marcus Allen sits in third with 123, while LaDainian Tomlinson (145) and Emmitt Smith (164) are considerably further away on the list.

It is well conceivable that Henry surpasses Peterson and Allen in the short-term, but he will need to ensure he remains healthy enough over the coming years to get close to breaking Smith's record and take the number one spot.
Henry will be looking to add more rushing touchdowns to his name when the Ravens travel to take on the 2-6 Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football (October 30).
