The Southeastern Conference is no stranger to raucous environments, but viewers tuning into Saturday’s “SEC on ABC” broadcast from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium struggled to hear more than just the roar of the crowd.

Between the deafening cheers in Oxford and the booming public address system, the broadcast’s announcers were nearly drowned out during key stretches of the game. Fans at home wasted no time pointing out the issue, taking to social media to question why the audio mix made it nearly impossible to follow commentary.

The SEC prides itself on being one of the loudest and most passionate conferences in college football, and Ole Miss fans delivered with another energetic showing. However, the volume is creating challenges for ABC’s broadcast crew, reaching living rooms nationwide. Unfortunately, I don't think the crowd is simmering down anytime soon.
