Saturday's college football slate features a big SEC matchup between No. 9 Vanderbilt and No. 20 Texas, but some fans won't be able to watch the game.

Disney and YouTube TV are in the middle of a contract dispute that has spilled into the public, affecting which games are available to customers this weekend. While ESPN and ABC will broadcast many college football games on Saturday, the Commodores-Longhorns matchup is perhaps the highest-profile game.

Some YouTube TV customers may not realize this dispute until they try to watch Texas-Vanderbilt on ABC. Here’s the latest on why this SEC battle is blacked out for YouTube TV.

Why is Texas-Vanderbilt not on YouTube TV?

The game between Texas and Vanderbilt is set to air on ABC, but YouTube TV customers will not be able to watch it on Saturday. The contract between Disney and YouTube TV expired on Thursday, and the two sides could not reach a new agreement.

As a result, YouTube TV subscribers will be blacked out from all ABC and ESPN networks until a new deal is reached. Texas vs. Vanderbilt kicks off at Noon ET, opening ABC’s college football coverage on Saturday, but YouTube TV customers will need to find an alternative way to watch.

As of Friday, October 31, ESPN's blackout on YouTube TV officially began, while both sides put out statements regarding their side of the disagreement.

How to watch Texas-Vanderbilt without YouTube TV

For YouTube TV customers who want to watch college football on ABC and ESPN amid the dispute, there are several other options. However, YouTube TV is offering a $20 credit for its customers if this blackout lasts for an "extended period of time.

Fubo, specifically, carries all ESPN channels and offers a free trial for new users, while Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV and DirecTV are all options. Additionally, for customers who want to go directly to the source, ESPN recently released their all-inclusive app that will have Texas vs. Vanderbilt.
