With the Cincinnati Bearcats playing the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs. It left many people wondering if two very important attendees would be at the game.

Earlier this week, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement, essentially breaking the internet. Garnering over 33 million likes and a million reposts in the first 24 hours.

Travis Kelce played for the Bearcats from 2008 to 2012, where he played both quarterback and tight end. So there was much speculation about whether the Bearcats' season opener was going to be the newly engaged couple's first public appearance.

26 minutes after kickoff, the Bearcats posted on X that Taylor Swift was in the building.

Then, later, Kelce and Swift were spotted on the ESPN broadcast watching the game.

The game was a back-and-forth battle. The Bearcats and QB, Brendan Sorsby, were driving down the field with 34 seconds left to get into field goal range to tie the game. Sorsby threw an interception with 34 seconds left, securing the 20-17 victory for the Cornhuskers.

The Cincinnati Bearcats will try to bounce back from the loss next week against the Bowling Green Falcons. The Nebraska Cornhuskers take on the Akron Zips to keep their momentum rolling.
