The Trail Blazers reunited with Damian Lillard last week, but he's unlikely to play next season.
They still need some added depth for their roster, which they were able to fix, signing one player to a deal on Tuesday.
Trail Blazers sign young guard to roster
ESPN's Shams Charania announced Tuesday that the Trail Blazers signed Blake Wesley to a one-year contract.
Wesley spent his first three seasons with the Spurs, after being drafted in the first round by San Antonio in 2022.
He's moved around quite a bit recently, starting with when he got traded to the Wizards earlier this month.
After being acquired by the Wizards, Wesley was bought out, allowing him to become a free agent and sign with a new team.

He chose Portland, and since he's still only 22 years old, he signed a one-year deal.
The hope for Wesley is that he can have a strong year and sign a better contract next offseason.
Wesley hasn't been a standout player in his first few seasons, but in the right situation could blossom into more of an impact player role off the bench.
Wesley averaged 11.8 minutes in 58 games during the 2024-25 NBA season, averaging 3.7 points, 2.0 assists and 0.6 steals.
