On Sunday morning, it was announced that the Magic were trading a haul of players and picks away for Grizzlies' Desmond Bane.
With the Magic looking to add more shooting this offseason, Bane is a huge addition that will address their lack of shooting from last season.

What number will Bane wear in Orlando?
As reported by the Magic's social media account, Bane will wear #3 in the pinstripes next season.
Bane wore the #22 during his five years in Memphis.
Bane's new contract kicked in this past season, and he's set to make just under $200 million in the span of that deal.

He will become a UFA in 2029.
In the 2024-25 season, Bane averaged 19.2 PPG, 6.1 RPG and 5.3 APG.
Some criticized the Magic for the haul they gave up to get Bane, but if this can elevate them to be a serious top-tier team in the East, it may end up being well worth it.
