The 2025 NBA Cup has come to a close as the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 124-113. 

The in-season NBA tournament is growing in popularity, and it is thanks in part to how good of a game the final was. The Knicks trailed for most of the game, but used a dominant fourth quarter to pull off the comeback win. 

While it is a team win, one player was recognized as the overall MVP for the tournament, and others were acknowledged and added to the all-tournament team.

NBA Cup MVP 2025

Jalen Brunson was named MVP of the 2025 NBA Cup.

In the championship game, Brunson finished with 25 points on 11-27 shooting. He also added four rebounds, eight assists and two blocks to his stat line. 

This is the first NBA trophy and individual award going into Brunson's trophy case. So far in his pro career, he has been named an All-Star twice and to the All-NBA Second Team twice. 

Brunson joins LeBron James (2023) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (2024) as NBA Cup MVPs. 

NBA Cup All-Tournament Team 2025

With Brunson winning NBA Cup MVP, he will headline the All-Tournament team this year. This section will be updated when the rest of the team is revealed.

How NBA Cup MVP and All-Tournament Team are selected

A combination of fans and a media panel selects the NBA Cup MVP and All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the NBA Cup. Voting is based on performance during Group Play and the Knockout Rounds.

Here is how voting for NBA Cup MVP shook out:

The NBA Cup MVP will receive a trophy, as does each player who made the All-Tournament team.

Additionally, each member of the teams that made it to the Knockout Rounds earned prize money, with the championship team winning $500,000 per player and runners-up receiving $200,000 per player.
