The Knicks lost yet another game on Monday, making it their 9th loss in their last 11 games.

The players and team are frustrated, as a team that started off the season pretty well is having trouble getting through a long drought.

Amid this stretch when wins have been hard to come by, rumors have spread that players like Karl-Anthony Towns could be shopped ahead of the deadline, with three specific teams looking to add the star center.

What three teams are interested in Karl-Anthony Towns?

Steve Popper of Newsday reported, regarding teams being interested in Towns, "league sources said that talks have involved other teams including Memphis, Orlando and Charlotte."

The Hornets and Grizzlies would likely make a move for Towns as a way of planning for the future, while the Magic could become a serious threat in the East.

Talks don't necessarily mean Towns is definitely on his way out, but the next couple of weeks in New York could be the final factor that leads to the Knicks either sticking with their group or choosing to make a risky move to change things up in New York, such as trading Towns.

Towns is still playing all-star level basketball, so the haul the Knicks would get in a Towns trade is an interesting concept, considering New York will want assets that make them better and make them a contender right now.

In the 2025-26 NBA season, Towns is averaging 20.9 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
