Knicks All-Star guard Jalen Brunson went down with an apparent lower-body injury during Game 4 of a first-round series with the Pistons.
The injury occurred late in the third quarter as Brunson attempted to bring the ball up the court. As Detroit guard Dennis Schröder stole the ball, Brunson's leg appeared to get tangled and he stayed down on the floor in apparent pain.

Brunson went to the locker room to receive treatment and returned to the game early in the fourth quarter.
It is worth noting that Brunson has had his fair share of ankle issues in the past year. He missed 15 games with a sprained right ankle and returned to the lineup on April 6. That he appeared to injure the same ankle in this series could be a cause for concern.
New York's offense is dependent on Brunson performing at an All-Star level. He is averaging 33.7 points through the first three games of the series with Detroit.
