It was recently reported by Five Reasons Sports that the Milwaukee Bucks have an interest in former Golden State Warriors champion and current Miami Heat wing Andrew Wiggins.
If the Bucks could land Wiggins, their roster would be significantly improved over its current state.
If they could also find a way to get off of Kyle Kuzma's contract for Wiggins, that’d be even better.
However, it sounds like the Bucks will have some competition.
According to a recent report from Anthony Irwin of Clutch Points, the Los Angeles Lakers have interest in trading for Wiggins, among other players.
“Previous trade targets include Andrew Wiggins and Robert Williams, among others, and a couple new names have garnered some attention given how the rest of the offseason has played out to this point. Sources say Matisse Thybulle, Marcus Smart (though most teams are watching to see if he's going to be bought out), Ayo Dosunmu and others are names the Lakers have had preliminary conversations with teams about availability and price, though no offers have been made,” he wrote.
Wiggins is a prime trade candidate around the league, especially after he had a somewhat down season for the Heat a year ago.

Miami found itself in a strange spot due to some of the moves it made, so it might not be all of his fault, but Wiggins didn't play the type of basketball he had hoped for.
Ultimately, if the Lakers are willing to move on from someone like Austin Reaves, they’d likely be able to beat the Bucks' trade package.
However, if not, and Milwaukee is willing to move on from that 2031 first-round pick, it's possible the Bucks could land the former NBA champion.
