The Lakers continue to be in trade rumors, with less than a week until the trade deadline.
There have been several names that the team has had talks about, but a new one has been added to that list, as the Lakers have worked out some basic framework with the Cavs on a trade that would bring a 6-foot-7 forward to Los Angeles.
What 6-foot-7 forward are the Lakers interested in?
Cavs reporter Chris Fedor said, "My sources tell me that the Cavs and the Lakers have discussed a general framework surrounding De'Andre Hunter, Rui Hachimura and Dalton Knecht and then bringing in a third team."
Hachimura has been a heavily discussed name among Lakers players who could be on the move, as he's a contract they could use if they make a trade for a key rotation player like Hunter.

If it weren't for Mark Williams failing a physical at last year's trade deadline, Knecht would have already been traded, so it wouldn't be a surprise if they part ways with him, officially, this time around.
The Cavs have fallen below expectations to this point, but still aren't in an awful spot.
They've dealt with injuries here and there and might look to switch things up, as Hunter is having a slight down season.
The Lakers have had injury issues at points this season, and Hunter would be a great addition, as someone who can step into a bigger role when the team needs him to.
